We, the ladies of Kannada Devangar Community, living in and around Coimbatore, were gathered by a Public Charitable Trust started in 1972, Sri Sowdeswari Charitable Trust, to form a ladies wing and named it as SRI SOWDESWARI MAGALIR MANDARAM, with the noble objective of serving women and children of all communities in general and Kannada Devangar Community in particular.
When we decided to a expand our, we registered ourselves as a Public Charitable Trust in the year 2000 and changed the name to SRI SOWDESWARI MAGALIR TRUST, to streamline all our activities
One of our Trust's more valuable services is our marriage bureau which was started in 1991.When people from all over India and abroad expressed their difficulties in accessing our Matrimony services, we decided to go online too.
Thus our website www.kannadadevangamatrimony.com was born in 2014. We have been receiving laurels for all our services, especially our Matrimony service.
